Hello, I want to buy a $200 automatic watch from Japanese online store for personal use. Do I need to pay any tax or duty for this and how much?Thank you

Yes.

Total duties and taxes at import stage depends on the Assessable Value of a commodity.

Customs station, through which you are going to import the watch, shall determine the Assessable Value of that watch, which will definitely be greater than $200 due to freight cost etc. If it is determined by customs that the true price of that watch is not $200, rather it is $900, then the Assessable Value = $900+ Freight cost (which is also determined by customs in case they find your declared freight cost to be untrue).

So, let customs has determined that the Assessable Value of your watch $1000, if it's a wrist watch, then you have to pay 38.47% duty, which equals to $384.70. At 85 BDT/USD, $384.70 = BDT 32699.5.
