Can a passenger clear few auto/motor parts brought in his baggage duty free?

Motor parts are not categorized by the NBR as personal effects. Therefore, if any passenger brings motor parts along with his baggage of personal effects, he will not be able to claim duty free benefits for these motor parts. Customs may even ask for an import permit to clear such non baggage items before clearance if it is considered to be of commercial quantity.
