Customs has identified a number of items or category of products that can be taken to the off-docks or the private ICDs for completion of customs formalities there with a view to easing congestion at the Chittagong Port. The NBR has allowed the following items to be transferred to the private ICDs/off-docks through its letters dated 06/07/2006, 02/09/2010, 06/12/2012, and 21/04/2015)

3. Mustard seed
4. Waste paper
5. Chickpeas (chola) 
6. Pulse (dal)
7. Raw cotton
8. Scrap
9. Animal fodder 
10. Hard coke 
11. Carbon black
12. Marble chips
13. Ball clay (in bulk)
14. Onion
15. Ginger
16. Garlic (perishable goods carried in normal dry container)
17. Fertiliser 
18. Soda Ash 
19. PVC Resin
20. Staple Fibre 
21. Containerised square/round Log
22. Dates
23. Bitumin
24. Empty container for beverages 
25. Marble stone
26. Sodium sulphate
27. Wood pulp
28. Global salt
29. Soyabean meal/Extraction (2304 00 00);
