As per the conditions laid down in Part A under Annexure 1 of the Import Policy Order, 2015-2018, old vehicles will not be importable from any third country. 

However, old vehicles that were in personal use abroad and will be in personal use after importation can be imported from a third country. In such cases, certificate of registration & certificate of cancellation of registration (from the country of use) will have to be submitted to the customs authority.
