The exporters, who also supply goods for home consumption within Bangladesh, can avail the duty drawback facility. But such drawback will be applicable only for the quantity of inputs that has gone into the finished goods they have exported, not for the inputs used in their total output.

The exporters who operate businesses under Bonded Warehouse licenses and EPZ system, and the 100 per cent export-oriented and 100 per cent deemed exporters will be able to get drawbacks only for VAT paid on utilities consumed during the production of their export products.
