In order to accommodate the trade facilitation provisions of the WCO Revised KYOTO Convention and the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, the NBR has undertaken a task to amend its existing Customs Act. Accordingly, a new Customs Act in Bangladesh will be enacted soon. The Draft New Customs Bill will soon be placed at the National Parliament for enactment.
